American Inspiration Author Series was created as an in-person series featuring best-selling writers and their latest books that explore themes of personal identity, families and immigration, and social and cultural history.

Building on the momentum of the American Inspiration author series, in 2020 American Ancestors and the Boston Public Library partnered to present virtual events featuring today’s celebrated authors and their new books. Produced in partnership with the GBH Forum, these free author events are available online and recorded.

Funding for these lectures supports the development of groundbreaking events, aids in the promotion and marketing of these series, and secures renowned personalities within the fields of history, genealogy, literature, genetics, and antiquarianism.
